Who are LRWA?

Founded in 1979, LRWA aims to raise awareness of the technical and financial benefits of specifying liquid-applied waterproofing systems and to establish product and installation standards to ensure that optimum performance is achieved. To this end LRWA was involved in the preparation of European Technical Approvals as the official industry body in conjunction with the British Board of Agrement and the European Organisation for Technical Approvals.

LRWA members are devoted to best industry practice. With the aim of supplying and applying systems to a client’s full satisfaction, advice can be obtained either centrally or from individual member firms. LRWA’s Technical Committee has written a Code of Practice on the specification and use of liquid applied waterproofing systems; it also produces a series of guidance notes for specifiers, clients and contractors designed to educate and inform as to the properties, correct applications, installation methods and aftercare of liquid waterproofing systems.
