The Project
Car park comprises asphalt surfaced ground floor podium deck with office above and ramp down to basement levels. Scheme was to prevent water leaking into the levels below which was leading to loss of parking spaces which had to be coned off to prevent damage to vehicles caused by salt-laden water. There was also a potential problem of long-term damage to the reinforced concrete caused by the water ingress. The use of protective decorative coatings also gave an upgrade to the aesthetics of the car park.
