TREMCO MMA Rapid Cure External System

Associated British Ports

Main: Morgan Sindall, Specialist: Rateavon

The Challenge
The project featured a very tough programme with penalties for failure to meet target staged hand-overs of areas due to demands of car manufacturers. A rapid cure system was required.

The Solution
New car storage facility comprising an 11,000 m² footprint x 5 levels of car storage. Steel frame and precast planks with grouted connections. Significant movement especially at plank ends/beam lines.
Technical support was provided in the form of pre-contract documentation, testing of substrate, preparation, monitoring, answering queries and final testing and sign-off including pendulum slip test.

The Contractor
TREMCO was selected due to a combination of programme, track record, cost effectiveness and technical performance. TREMCO previously carried out works to MD4, 5, and 5Ext. for same contractor and client.
