The Project
£300k project to renew the waterproofing system to the top decks and ramps of car parks serving offices.
Project was carried out over winter months so rapid cure, and low temperature cure were important in allowing this project to be completed.

The Solution
New car storage facility comprising an 11,000 m² footprint x 5 levels of car storage. Steel frame and precast planks with grouted connections. Significant movement especially at plank ends/beam lines.
Technical support was provided in the form of pre-contract documentation, testing of substrate, preparation, monitoring, answering queries and final testing and sign-off including pendulum slip test.

TREMCO was selected on the basis of track-record, performance and cost-effectiveness. One of the decks had a generally sound existing waterproofing system, so the decision was taken to over-coat this to avoid the disruption of mechanical planing to remove the existing system.
TREMCO provided a suitable primer to allow over-coating of the old system.
