The Project
New construction to Audi dealership to provide rooftop parking above service bay. Construction was composite metal decking/concrete followed by insulation and a reinforced concrete topping above. The trafficable waterproofing system was installed on top of this. Joints were required to accommodate major movement between existing and new construction. Installation took place in early spring with marginal weather conditions, so the low-temperature and rapid-cure features that characterise MMA waterproofing systems were essential.
The joints were sealed with Migutan FP90 mechanical movement joints that were integrated with the waterproofing system to provide a guaranteed, single-point solution. TREMCO has been the UK & Ireland’s agents for the European market leading Migua Jointing Systems for over 35 years.

TREMCO was selected on a combination of track-record, performance and cost effectiveness. The TREMCO Technical Services team were on-hand at all stages of the project and were able to advise on an MMA resin screed to correct falls to drainage.
