Background
With a change of tenants the new box gutters and profiled roof sheets to two adjoining retail units needed to be waterproofed. Due to the time of year and the colder weather, a rapid curing product that could be installed in low temperatures was required.

The Solution
Fleece reinforced Wecryl 230 thix was fully bonded to the new and existing gutters. One coat of Wecryl 288 was applied to the profiled roof to prolong it’s life span. Wecryl 230 thix was also used to encapsulate the end laps on this roof to stop any capillary action.

The Benefits
Wecryl 230 thix and fleece reinforcement provides a fully bonded, rapid curing seamless system that is tried and tested under standing water. The rapid curing nature of the product is ideal for gutters where water runoff from adjoining roofs is highly likely. Wecryl 230 thix and Wecryl 288 are rapid curing to ensure speed of application and are shower proof in around 20 minutes. Both can also be applied in colder temperatures whilst retaining their rapid curing properties.
