The Challenge
Located in Ellesmere Port Cheshire, Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet is the largest outlet centre in the United Kingdom, with 145 stores and the first designer outlet village in Europe, when it opened in March 1995.
The Solution
To bring this well-known outlet centre up to date, TREMCO UK was chosen to supply a high performance and bright clean finish solution for the car park area from original tarmacadam and concrete.
Approximately 7,000 m2 of TREMCO’s MMA Rapid Cure Internal Decking System was installed throughout several internal decks for the visitors and staff car park. The rapid curing deck coating system was chosen due to its rapid curing time of just two hours and durability. The installation was completed in one day, carried out at night, welcoming staff working in the centre and stores at 7am in the morning.
The Contractor
TREMCO was selected on a combination of track-record, performance and exceptional customer support. This encompassed detailed specification setting out all aspects of the work required and regular site visits during installation by and on-site inspection by the TREMCO Technical Services team.
