LRWA SUPPORTS ROOFING AWARDS 2017

The LRWA has pledged its support for this year’s Roofing Awards 2017 in the Associate Sponsors category.
Taking place on Friday 19 May 2017, the Roofing Awards recognises and rewards outstanding workmanship and technical excellence across the roofing industry.
Organised and hosted by the National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC), this year’s event will take place at the Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge, London and will be presented by BBC Breakfast’s Steph McGovern.

Thanks to continued support by the LRWA and other sponsors, the Roofing Awards has become the highlight of the roofing industry calendar. Award entries have increased and new categories introduced – including environmental, lead roofing and hard metal roofing categories and for the first time, the judges award for ‘Roof of the Year’.
We’d like to congratulate some of our members who have been shortlisted in the awards, including Makers Construction Ltd and Triflex (UK) Ltd who are finalists in the Liquid Applied Roofing and Waterproofing category for work on the Royal Arch Apartments. Also, to Radmat (with Prater) in the Mastic Asphalt / Hot Melt for its work on Fitzroy Place. Another of our liquid manufacturer members, Kemper System Ltd, worked with Mitie Tilley Roofing on the Gatwick Airport project, which has also been shortlisted in the Liquid Applied Roofing and Waterproofing category.

Congratulations also to another of our contractor members, Volker Laser is also shortlisted in the liquid category for work on Priority Schools.
