NEW CONTRACTORS JOIN THE LRWA BOARD
We’re pleased to announce that we have appointed contractor representatives to the LRWA board for the first time.
Rafal Drabik, managing director of London Seamless Flat Roofing, and Chris Bott, managing director of Mars Construct, have been co-elected to represent both the southern and northern regions of the UK.
Rafal has worked in the liquids industry for nearly two decades and set up London Seamless Flat Roofing in 2005. The company provides a wide range of liquid roofing and waterproofing services and works with specifiers, surveyors and main contractors to deliver projects using a variety of liquid technologies.
A former building surveyor, Chris has more than 25 years’ construction industry experience. Throughout his career, he has held senior positions at large construction firms and consultancies, and has also established a successful building consultancy business.
Chris has been at the helm of Leeds-based Mars Construct since 2016, which supplies and installs a wide range of waterproofing systems and offers project design and management services.
Sarah Spink, CEO of the LRWA, said: “Both Rafal and Chris have extensive experience of the liquids sector, so we’re really pleased to welcome them to the board.“Their appointment reflects our rapidly growing contractor membership and will ensure that as an association, we can continue to provide the right level of support and guidance to contractors across the UK.”
