Sika Liquid Plastics Pledges Support for the LRWA Awards
Roofing specialist, Sika Liquid Plastics, has been named headline sponsor of the first Liquid Roofing and Waterproofing Association (LRWA) Awards & Gala.
Taking place on Wednesday 8 November 2017, the event will recognise the outstanding workmanship and technical excellence across one of the fastest growing sectors in the flat roofing market.
The contribution and backing from Preston-based Sika Liquid Plastics will help to deliver the first association-led event of its kind – which will see LRWA members including manufacturers, contractors and suppliers to industry, come together and celebrate the best in liquid roofing and waterproofing.
Pete Hollingworth, head of sales at Sika Liquid Plastics, commented on why the cold-applied roofing manufacturer has pledged its support for the awards, which are set to take place at the prestigious Hotel Football in Manchester.
He said: “We strongly believe in helping to maintain the highest of standards in liquid waterproofing, a sector which is continuing to grow year-on-year. The LRWA Award categories include ‘Liquid Roofing Project of the Year over 1000m2’, ‘Liquid Roofing Project of the Year under 1000m2’, ‘Liquid Waterproofing Project of the Year Award’, ‘Trainer of the Year’, ‘Student of the Year’ and recognition for an individual or company that has made a special contribution to the liquid roofing and waterproofing industry. Entries for the awards will close on 15 September 2017 and winners will be announced on the day.
