Alex worked 15 years in Research and Development, focusing on coatings technology and in particular liquid applied membranes for roofing. In 2021 Alex took up a new position to head up the Roofing Technical functions for Sika in the UK. Alex’s career history blends a background in chemical formulating and legislation, with construction knowledge and regulatory experience.
As well as being a member of our Technical Committee and representing LRWA on the British Coatings Federation Associate Technical Committee (BCF), Alex also sits on several other trade organisation technical committees, including the Construction Product Association (CPA) and Single-Ply Roofing Association (SPRA).
