Concrete Repair/Liquid Roofing Trainee - Cemplas Waterproofing & Concrete Repairs Ltd

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Trainee to join our team and become trained as a Concrete Repairer and Liquid Roofer. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Working as part of the site team to learn and undertake the following;
• Remove debris from roof area prior to applying liquid materials
• Installing, repairing or replacing PU and PMMA waterproofing systems to a high standard
• Laying standard and tapered insulation schemes
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques for cold-liquid applied systems
• Cutting out defective concrete using grinders and handheld breakers
• Carry out concrete repairs and corrosion management using Sika, Fosroc, Weber or similar products
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
• Work in accordance with method statements and risk assessments
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time

Requirements:

• Possess a conscientious and positive attitude to work.
• Willingness to attend training courses, as and when required.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home, as and when required.
• Possess a full, clean UK driving licence.
