Tietex is a global manufacturer of engineered stitchbond nonwoven fabrics, with more than 50 years of experience in technical textiles and over 40 years supporting the liquid-applied roofing and waterproofing industry in the United States.

Our approach to roofing has always been about more than simply manufacturing a reinforcement fabric. Over the years, we have worked closely with liquid system manufacturers, roofing specialists and the people actually installing these systems in the field. This experience has helped us understand what makes a reinforcement work well in practice, not just on a technical data sheet.

Our polyester reinforcement fabrics are designed to complement the liquid system around them – combining strength and dimensional stability with flexibility, excellent wet-out and ease of application. The aim is simple: to make the reinforcement easy to work with while helping the overall system perform at its best.

As a member of the LRWA, Tietex wants to be more than a supplier. We aim to be a technical and development partner to liquid manufacturers, working collaboratively, sharing our experience and contributing positively to the continued development of the UK liquid roofing industry.
