Site Manager – Resin Waterproofing & Concrete Repair

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee concrete repair, resin waterproofing and liquid-applied waterproofing projects throughout the Midlands and Northern regions and the Southern Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient and successful delivery of projects, ensuring works are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety and client satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge and the ability to manage site teams, subcontractors and project programmes.

Responsibilities:

·       Manage the day-to-day activities of site operatives and subcontractors on concrete repair and waterproofing projects.

·       Plan, coordinate and oversee works to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

·       Liaise with Contracts Managers, clients, consultants and suppliers to ensure project objectives are achieved.

·       Monitor project progress against programme requirements and implement corrective actions where necessary.

·       Organise labour, plant, equipment and materials to maintain productivity and programme commitments.

·       Ensure all works are undertaken in accordance with approved method statements, risk assessments, specifications and company
procedures.

·       Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, safety briefings and quality checks.

·       Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries, progress reports, labour returns and material usage.

·       Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company policies and client requirements.

·       Identify and resolve technical and operational issues on site.

·       Support the training, development and performance management of site personnel.

·       Promote a positive safety culture and maintain high standards of workmanship across all projects.

·       Oversee activities using products such as Sika, Triflex, Westwood, Fosroc, or similar specialist systems.

·       Manage site handovers and assist with project completion documentation

Requirements:

·       Proven experience in a Site Manager role within construction, concrete repair, structural refurbishment, waterproofing, or related disciplines.

·       Strong understanding of site operations, construction methodologies and Health & Safety requirements.

·       CSCS Card.

·       SMSTS qualification.

·       Full UK Driving Licence.

·       Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.

·       Ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders and site teams.

·       Willingness to travel and work away from home when required.
