LRWA Dragon Boat Regatta

The LRWA Dragon Boat Regatta invites teams to battle it out on a lake in 30ft dragon boats, comprising of 10 paddlers and one drummer. Each team races 180m in a series of heats, with the top two teams going head to head in a nail-biting final race.

The LRWA Dragon Boat Regatta is one of the most exciting and engaging events in the association calendar, bringing together members and the wider industry for a day of competition, teamwork and networking in a unique outdoor setting.

Taking place at Cotswold Water Park on 16th September 2026, the Regatta offers a high-energy experience on the water, combined with valuable opportunities to build relationships across the liquid roofing and waterproofing sector.

The Dragon Boat Regatta is designed to be inclusive, accessible and highly enjoyable for all participants, regardless of experience. This event is open to members and non-members.

Teams go head-to-head in a series of short, fast-paced races, working together to power their boat towards the finish line. Each crew is supported by a professional helm and guided through the day with full instruction and safety briefing provided.

The format ensures plenty of racing, a strong sense of competition and an atmosphere that encourages participation, teamwork and camaraderie.
