The roofing industry has raised £7,265 for youth homelessness charity LandAid following the Liquid Roofing and Waterproofing Association’s (LRWA) Charity Team Challenge 2026 event.
First launched by the LRWA seven years ago, the virtual challenge is a nationwide event which encourages teams to run, walk, swim or cycle the furthest distances in 30 minute periods to raise money for LandAid.
This year’s challenge ran from 22nd June to 10th July, with 21 teams taking part, the largest number of teams to date. Participants clocked up kilometres in 30-minute bursts throughout the challenge period, walking, running, swimming and cycling to support the cause.
