The Liquid Roofing and Waterproofing Association (LRWA) has appointed Mike Bradbury as technical guidance manager.
With more than 40 years of experience in the roofing and waterproofing industry, Mike has held senior technical roles with multiple manufacturers, honing his expertise in polyurethane, PMMA, hot melt, and reinforced bitumen membrane (RBM) systems.
A former chair of the LRWA’s technical committee, Mike has been actively involved in the association since 2010. In his new role, he will collaborate with the LRWA’s technical committee to develop guidance on the latest legislation, standards, and technical issues affecting the liquid roofing and waterproofing sector.
Speaking about his appointment, Mike said: “It has been a privilege to help the LRWA develop and evolve over the years. The association has always been at the forefront of technical expertise for liquid-applied systems in the UK. This is reflected in the continuous growth of the technical committee.
“I’m looking forward to working closely with our technical chair, Mark Harris, technical representatives, and CEO Sarah Spink to progress new industry guidance such as the recently published Hot Melt Code of Practice.”
Sarah Spink added:
“Mike’s appointment underlines the LRWA’s commitment to technical excellence, further strengthening our in-house expertise.
With a deep knowledge of flat roofing systems and liquid-applied membranes in a range of chemistries, he is a great asset to our team. His insights and experience will help to shape expert guidance for members and drive wider engagement with external stakeholders to foster industry collaboration.”
