The roofing industry has raised £7,265 for youth homelessness charity LandAid following the Liquid Roofing and Waterproofing Association’s (LRWA) 2026 Charity Challenge event.
First launched by the LRWA seven years ago, the virtual challenge is a nationwide event which encourages teams to run, walk, swim or cycle the furthest distances to raise money for LandAid.
This year’s challenge ran from 22nd June to 10th July, with 21 teams taking part, the largest number of teams to date. Participants clocked up kilometres in 30-minute bursts throughout the challenge period, walking, running, swimming and cycling to support the cause.
The winners of the 2026 challenge are:
- Gold (first place): StructureCare Samurais
- Silver (second place): Linroc Lions
- Bronze (third place): Sika Wolf Pack

- Most Original Photo: Richard Aldred, Sika Wolf Pack, Loch Leven in Perth and Kinross
- Most Money Raised: Linroc Lions
- Best Runner: Ross Harle, StructureCare Samurais
- Best Walker: Ross Harle, StructureCare Samurais
- Best Cyclist (Indoor): Adam Draycott, Proteus Spartans
- Best Cyclist (Outdoor): Darren Marsh, Everlasting Endurance
- Best Swimmer: Bryden Thomson, StructureCare Samurais
