Ex LRWA Technical Secretary, Terry Wain is asking for help in sourcing building materials to create a workshop for a charity based in his home city of Salford called Incredible Education. The charity is a social enterprise specialising in health & wellbeing programmes that are delivered through horticulture and forest school activities for children and adults. The integrated workshop and classroom would be based at Cleavley Community Forest Garden and would enable the delivery of other services for the local community including a new home for the “Working in Wood” group that Terry is a member of.
There is a list of building products that are needed which include insulation, waterproofing and a green roo. If you would like to get involved please contact Terry Wain directly on 07799 534209
